Status of Online Resources for Tuesday, September 2, 2014

Hello Everyone,

This is an update to our previous messages of August 18 and August 22 regarding the population of online resources from Focus. All of this information should be considered to be current as of 6pm, Tuesday September 2.

In the document below, we refer to "normal support procedure". By this we mean the following: If the product has a specific and documented product support procedure from the District, follow that. If it does not have a documented procedure, then please open a ticket with your School Technology Coordinator who will escalate the issue appropriately to either the Service Desk or an appropriate individual.


McGRaw-Hill Products via ConnectED: Please try logging into these products on Wednesday, September 3 using normal procedures. We believe we have identified the underlying issues and are in the process of correcting them.

Pearson Products (SchoolNet etc.): No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.

Harcourt Products, especially MyHRW and Think Central: Issues identified and fixes incorporated into normal support procedure.

Discovery Education: No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.

Destiny for Textbooks and Media Centers: No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.

Compass: Teachers who recently transferred should now be correct. Please follow normal support procedure.

Raptor: No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.

C2C: No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.

FCAT Star: We are still working to address some known issues with our export to Focus.

Renaissance Place: Teacher login issues have been resolved. Please follow normal support procedure.

Read 180: Most students should be available. Please follow normal support procedure.

Fast Math: New Location: http://fasttmath02.escambia.k12.fl.us:55880/slms/studentaccess. Some upgrades are still being made but product should be available. Please follow normal support procedure.

PEER / Sunshine Connections: No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.

Transportation (General): Schools need to correct instances where students have two primary addresses and also specify school for students that are currently assigned to more than one school. Otherwise please follow normal support procedure.

RITB: Data has been loaded, but we are aware of some modifications that will need to be made in a few weeks.

Achieve 3000: In final stages of deployment.

Algebra Nation: Algebra Nation is now available via the District's Single Sign On System. Please follow normal support procedure.

OneSource Food Service: No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.

School Messenger: No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.

Audiology Reports: New functionality is available in Focus for these reports, and has been communicated to the appropriate personnel.

Writesource: No large-scale issues. Please follow normal support procedure.
