Problem: TERMS is printing in light gray. Printouts are barely legible. TERMS will not print in black.
Try this first: Use the prt screen key on the keyboard, if that still prints in grey then see below:
Solution: PART I Printer Properties General tab Printing Preferences button Graphic tab Resulution - set to 600 dpi ( default is usually 1200 dpi )
PART II Printer Properties Advanced tab Printing Defaults Graphic tab Resolution - set to 600 dpi ( default is usually 1200 dpi ) Verify the user is using the Print Screen key on the keyboard to send print jobs to TERMS
PART III Verify TERMS keyboard mapping for Print Screen is correct Open TERMS and from Main Menu select the following: Options Terminal Settings Keyboard Mapping Function Type = System Commands Function = Print Raw Click the prt key on the keyboard mapping screen (upper right) Click Set button Save, Save, Ok to exit keyboard mapping screen If it is still printing in light gray characters, then restart the print spooler service on the workstation. Have the user send a test print from TERMS
